I’m a non-exempt (hourly or clocking) employee. How much will I be paid if I did NOT work during the Inclement Weather/Emergency Closure Period?
Non-exempt (hourly) employees who are benefits eligible will receive compensation
at their regular hourly rate for the hours they were scheduled to work during
the closure period at their campus. Most employees will be paid for 7.5 hours
during the Inclement Weather/Emergency
Closure period.
Non-exempt (hourly) benefits-eligible employees who were scheduled to work more
or less than 7.5 hours will be compensated at their regular hourly pay based
on their work schedule.
Non-exempt employees who are NOT benefits eligible, such as student workers and
Mountaineer Temps, will be paid for the hours actually worked at their regular
rate of pay. They will NOT be compensated for time they were scheduled to work
during the emergency closure if they did not work.
